Our Team

Meet the Founders

Lifelong friends William Gardner and Andrew Coleman first met in kindergarten, bonding over childhood bike rides and dreams of building a better future. Even as young boys, they shared an unwavering determination to succeed—not just for themselves, but for their loved ones.

Over the years, they supported each other through life’s challenges, celebrated each other’s victories, and turned their ambition into thriving businesses. But success alone wasn’t enough—they wanted to give back.

After years of discussing ways to make a real impact, William and Andrew combined their professional expertise to create Strive Hive, a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals rebuild their lives. Their mission is to support those facing homelessness, individuals recently released from incarceration, and people recently recovered from addiction, to give them a chance to truly get on their feet and to regain stability.

Andrew Coleman

Founder/Chief Executive Officer

Andrew Coleman is a self-made interior designer, home remodeler, TV producer, and reality television personality who knows firsthand what it means to start from nothing.

When he first moved to California, he was homeless, living out of his car until a couple who saw the talent and dedication in Andrew changed the course of his life. Since then, he’s dedicated himself to paying it forward—helping people and animals in need, volunteering for disaster relief, and supporting those facing hardship.

His commitment to giving back deepened even further after a battle with cancer in 2022, a life-altering experience that reinforced his sense of purpose. After receiving his cancer-free diagnosis, William approached him with the idea of starting a nonprofit, and Strive Hive was born.
